What does the PTO typically fund?
- Assemblies – funds several student assemblies for all students
- Field Trips – provides assistance to help offset the cost of field trips for all students
- Room Parents – assists with expenses to help fund Fall and Holiday celebrations in classrooms
- Special Events - hosts Science Fair, History Fair, Talent Show and Book Swap
- Teacher Subsidies – provides $150 for classroom teachers and $100 for Autistic Support/Learning Support and Instructional Specialists
- Yearbooks – provides financial support to defray the expense of yearbooks
- Scholarship – awards a $1000 scholarship to a graduating CV senior that attended Shaull Elementary
- Family Fun – hosts social events including the Fall Dance, Father-Daughter Dance, Mother-Son Event and more
- Directory – produces annual school directory for all students
- Refreshments – provides snacks during PSSA testing, field day, Read Across America week, and dinner for staff during conferences
- Other Contributions - makes library and playground donations and supports the Anti–Bully Program and Positive Body Image Campaign
