Volunteer Clearance Information

After-School Clubs
Description: Various groups meet periodically after school and are run by parents and/or teachers. Details of the schedules will be released throughout the year. Suggestions for new groups are always welcome, i.e. a Garden Club for this spring.

          ASL (American Sign Language)
                   
Description: Children learn about deaf culture, conversational ASL, and play games.

          Bricks4Kidz      Schedule
                    Description: Children use LEGO® Bricks to build models, play games and explore engineering and movie-making.

                    Description: Students learn and compete to solve Rubik's Cubes

         Garden Club      Information      Register
                    Description: Children learn and experience gardening in the Shaull garden beds.

​         Girls on the Run      Information
                    Description: A program for girls in grades 3-5 to promote positive body image and self-esteem.
                    Spring- Mondays & Wednesdays starting Feb 24 for 12 weeks.
 
​         Hip Hop Club         Information
                    Description: Students learn basic hip-hop dance choreography from the CV Dance Team.
                    Spring for Grades 1-5- March 26, April 2, 16, 23
 
        Science Explorers

                    Description: Students explorer Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Coding, Anatomy and Physiology.

Boys Night Out- November 10, 2019        Information
Description: All Shaull boys have a fun event. They may invite any special adult to take to the event. Volunteers are needed for planning and chaperoning the event.​

Fall Festivals & Dance- October 18, 2019          Information
Description: A fun evening of games, crafts, snacks and dance for all Shaull students and their families. Volunteers are needed for planning, decorating and chaperoning the event.

Family Events- Roller Skating, Ice Skating, Bowling, TBD
Description: Shaull families can enjoy activities together throughout the year. 

Girls Night Out- January 24, 2020      Information
Description: All Shaull girls have a fun dance night. They may invite any special adult to dance with them. Volunteers are needed for planning, decorating and chaperoning the event.​

Fun Run- October 4, 2019      Information     Schedule
Description: A major fundraising event where students & parents can participate in a walk/run during school hours. Volunteers are needed to track corporate and individual donations, get t-shirts for the event, promote the event, plan entertainment during the event and coordinate volunteers.

Holiday Movie/Parents Night Out- December 6, 2019
Description: A night out for parents while students enjoy games, crafts or a movie at Shaull. Volunteers are needed to help plan and run the games, crafts, setup/clean up, provide snacks and select an appropriate movie.

Music in Our Schools- Fridays, March 6, 13, 27     Information   
Students are encouraged to celebrate "Music in our Schools Month" by singing or playing an instrument at the school. Contact the school's music teacher for details of the event. 

Science & Engineering Fair- March 26, 2020 
Students of all grades can build and submit a science or engineering project. Projects are judged the day before and displayed for family and friends during the fair.

Shaull May Fair- May 8, 2020             
Description: Our spring fair requires a lot of volunteers. At least two chairpersons are needed for this event. There are also several subcommittees that help with the school fair. We will need help with the following subcommittees: Raffle Baskets, Tickets, Food, Sweet Shop, Volunteers (organizing), Games, Prizes, Set Up, and Clean Up. This is one of the only two opportunities we have to raise funds for PTO.

Spirit Wear Sale- October 25 through November 10, 2019       Order Online         
Description: Sports wear for sale online only during one week in the fall. Families have a choice of Shaull or CV logo. Volunteers are needed for organizing sale through vendor, inventory choices and communications to Shaull families.

Talent Show- POSTPONED     
Description: Students will showcase their talents during an after school event. Volunteers are needed for set design, organizing auditions, setup/cleanup, back stage help, and concessions.
